I'm going crazy! $mov = new ffmpeg_movie(); Don't work

Why this code doesn't work now. It doesn't work since 1 months.

$mov = new ffmpeg_movie($uploadfile);

$frame = $mov->getFrameCount()/2;

$ff_frame = $mov->getFrame($frame);
if ($ff_frame) {
$gd_image = $ff_frame->toGDImage();
if ($gd_image) {

imagejpeg($gd_image, $jpgdest);


imagedestroy($gd_image);

}
}


I have opened a tickets but nothing else for resolved the probleme :( I do to copy a frame manualy after a member upload a video !!! I'm going crazy :s

You should check paths to your upload dir and make sure they are correct.

I have the correct PATH !!! The code was worked fine during the time i'm with APTHOST, but It doesn't work since 1 months.

I found the probleme !!! It is toGDImage();

Why this fonction of ffmpeg don't work ??? It's an usual fonction of ffmpeg.

It make an Internal error

Did this work before Sep 17 ?

The reason I ask is because on Sep 17 we have changed spartan's ffmpeg to use the H.264 Codec for HD quality videos.

If it worked before this date, then we know what to blame, but if still didn't work before this date, then we may need to investigate further.

But I need to know if it worked before or not, as the box does have GD compiled.

Try now. And test any ffmpeg features, if its all ok we will go ahead and deploy on all boxes.

I would like to thank Russell Rademacher (Level 3 Engineering) to resolve this issue by install the stable version 5.3.1-1 of ffmpeg-php !

Now i will be sane ;)
